Springfield Cardinals Unveil Major Front Office Overhaul
The Springfield Cardinals, the Double-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, are gearing up for an exciting 2026 season with a significant shake-up of their front office. This strategic move is set to revolutionize the team's operations and enhance the fan experience. 'We're thrilled to be taking the Springfield Cardinals to the next level with a talented and dedicated front office team,' said Dan Reiter, General Manager of the Springfield Cardinals. 'These changes are designed to bring measurable success to the community and elevate the overall fan experience.'
Among the notable promotions is Angela Deke, who has been with the organization since its inception in 2005. She now takes on the role of Vice President of Ticket and Business Operations, a position that will see her oversee all ticket operations while acting as a senior advisor to the General Manager. Additionally, she will lead human resources and finances, and serve as a crucial fiduciary between the front office and food and beverage provider Delaware North.
Another key promotion is Zack Pemberton, who steps into the role of Vice President of Ticket Sales and Marketing after 17 seasons with the team. In this new position, he will not only lead the Ticket Sales Department but also oversee the Marketing Department, ensuring seamless collaboration and driving sustained success between both departments. Pemberton will also continue working with non-profit organizations and premium ticket accounts, while maintaining responsibility for selling corporate partnerships.
Regina Hess, who began as a part-timer in 2016 and became a full-time employee in 2017, has been promoted to Director of Marketing. In her new role, she will oversee the team's marketing initiatives while also working fluidly with ticketing and corporate sales. She will continue with her gameday responsibilities and overseeing fan entertainment and fan experience.
Levi Smith, who has been with the Cardinals full-time since 2022, has been promoted to Senior Manager of Ticket Sales. In this new role, he will oversee Springfield's full-time sales staff while heading all RED Access Membership and group ticket initiatives. He will also continue to lead ideation on the team's theme tickets, ticket deals, and ticket packages.
Tysen Hathcock, who has been with the organization full-time since 2022, has been promoted to Senior Manager of Video Operations and Production. With this new title, he will have a larger responsibility in overseeing gameday entertainment at Hammons Field, including management of promotions staff, manual scoreboard operations, and production team. His primary goal is to continue to improve the fan experience at Hammons Field.
Caleb Lasher, who has been with the organization since 2022, will continue with his duties as an Account Executive, focusing on RED Access Membership and group sales, while also adding corporate sponsorships. Additionally, he will now lead all youth baseball clinics hosted at Hammons Field with the Cardinals and facilitate high school games played at the ballpark.
Dalton Baker, who has been with the organization since 2024, has been promoted to Operations Manager. In this new role, he will lead clubhouse operations, team travel, and housing, while also helping with all stadium operations.
Sheri Hart, who was hired in January 2025, has begun the transition from Office Coordinator to Business Manager. In addition to her previous responsibilities with payroll and office management, she now serves as the financial liaison between the club and Diamond Baseball Holdings' regional office.
Aubree Enos, who was hired this offseason, joined the full-time staff after working a variety of part-time roles with the organization starting in 2022. The Missouri State alumna has gained experience across multiple departments in her time in Springfield, including stints as a Box Office Associate, Gameday Ambassador, and Gameday Stringer. She has been working with the sales staff since October 2025.
The defending Texas League Champion Springfield Cardinals will begin the 2026 regular season at home on Tuesday, April 7 against the Tulsa Drillers.
